I was watching John Hagee Ministries this morning and heard a story about the greatest faith. As the family sat at the dinner table, the daddy said he didn't feel well. Immediately the little child went over to her daddy and prayed over him and promptly went back to her seat, trusting immediately that God heard and answered her prayer. Can you imagine? What would it be like if we fill our children with God's word and power so much that they instinctively look to Him for answers and not the world? Luke 18:17-"Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” The power of innocence having such faith that the evil one cannot fill with doubtful thoughts. |
Luke 8:16-“No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light."

That kind of thing happens all the time here at the Home of Hope. .these kids who knew nothing of God and His power see the transformation that takes places in their mother and their families that it then becomes so easy for them to walk up to someone and pray and know that God heard them and will take care of the rest. . I am so blessed to see that everyday here. My prayer is that it spreads and others get to see it as well..
ReplyDeleteHow could it not happen there? The Home of Hope is a light in a dark world. I envy you that. Someday I too will be in a women's and children's facility. I want to build a loving restoring Christ based facility that builds faith, restores hearts and families while providing practical biblical instruction for every day life. Amen!
