Weaving of Words

Think about how I used to talk to you about life until you slowly slumped down against the wall and landed in a sitting position knowing that this was going to be a long one… again. Not a rant, or a lecture of sorts, but a kind of ‘hey, life is hard and I want to warn you before you get too caught up in it’ type talk. Well, Angel, I can now tell you why I always took so much time to talk to you about life. (For those of you who aren’t Angel, this is for you too.)************************************************************************************************ I was reading about Moses and, boy, could he go on. And at one juncture I realized why he kept going on about what they did, and what he said, and how God intervened until it was repetitive. Love. ********************************************************************************* Life is hard. I kept going on about it to make sure that I gave you all the information that you needed to survive it. (Because no one ever prepared me for it and look what happened to me) It surely wasn’t because I thought that I knew it all, but it’s that I felt if I reiterated it in several ways, then I could weave together enough words to make your subconscious keep you from falling too. And it worked. I remember telling you about the Holy Spirit that warns you about doing bad things and you told me, “Nana, the only voice that I hear in my head at times like that is yours.!” GOOD. That was my intention. **************************************************************************************** I would explore every ‘what if’ scenario with you. I would tell you real stories about other people’s experiences/consequences. I would tell you the if/then and the good choices.******************************************************************************************** It is basically the same with the bible. God inspired so many people to write those words and stories in the hope that He could save us from ourselves. Especially in those places like when Moses keeps repeating step by step recaps of what they did, what he said, how he fought for them and what God did for them as a result. He needed to weave together his words to make the nets that would catch them when they fell… because we are people and we do fall. ************************************************************************************************ For you, I will say this too. (Don’t worry. You can remain standing. Lol) The loving words, the care that I took in guiding you; my attempt to save you from yourself and guide you to God was so that His Spirit would be in you to save you when I am no longer here…. It is something that we must do for our children, our friends, our family, the people in our lives. Because I don’t want the alternative for you. I want you to be with me in Heaven. I want all of you to be there with me. Not being left behind.*********************************************************** I love you.
